Our wrapper grade Blind Monkey tobacco is medium-dark in color with optimal oil and stretch. This natural tobacco leaf comes from Pennsylvania and is hand sorted by Amish farmers after being air cured. Compared to our Glasgow Magistrate variety, these tobacco leaves will be slightly thicker and larger, with a mildly stronger smell and taste.
Air cured tobacco is generally cured in open or exposed barns for one to two months at a time. This curing process gives these natural tobacco leaves a distinctive, pleasing aroma. Our Blind Monkey leaf is a ‘dark air cured tobacco’ used in a wide variety of tobacco applications.
