Refund and Returns Policy
At Tobacco Way Farms LLC, we tae pride in the quality of our raw, 100% natural tobacco leaves. Because our products are categorized as raw agricultural commodities, our return policy is designed to ensure the botanical integrity and safety of our inventory.
1. Wholesale Sales Finality
Due to the nature of raw tobacco leaves—including their sensitivity to moisture, temperature, and handling—all wholesale sales are final. We do not accept returns for “buyer’s remorse,” overstocking, or change of mind once the product has left our facility.
2. Damaged or Defective Goods
We guarantee that our tobacco meets the grade and specifications promised at the time of sale.
- Notification Period: If your shipment arrives damaged (e.g., mold, significant rot beyond agricultural norms, or freight damage), you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Evidence Required: You must provide high-resolution photos of the damaged bales/pallets and the original shipping labels.
- Resolution: Upon verification, Tobacco Way Farms LLC will, at our discretion, either issue a credit toward your next order or ship a replacement for the defective portion of the order.
3. Shipping & Logistics
- Freight Damage: For large LTL (Less Than Truckload) or container shipments, any visible damage to the outer packaging must be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL) at the time of delivery. Failure to note damage with the carrier may void your ability to file a claim.
- Rerouting: Orders already in transit cannot be canceled or rerouted.
4. Taxes and Duties
- Compliance: Tobacco Way Farms LLC is not responsible for any shipments seized, delayed, or held by customs due to the buyer’s failure to follow instructions provided by the shipping company or to obtain and maintain the required local permits, licenses, or import authorizations.
- Refunds on Tax: We do not refund state or international tobacco taxes. Our liability is strictly limited to the wholesale cost of the raw agricultural product.
5. Approved Returns (Discretionary)
In rare cases where a return is authorized by a manager in writing:
- Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all authorized returns.
- Shipping Costs: The buyer is responsible for all return freight costs.
- Condition: Tobacco must be returned in its original, unopened burlap or vacuum-sealed packaging. We cannot accept returns on tobacco that has been processed, stemmed, or stored in non-climate-controlled environments.
Q5. Can I cancel the order?
You can cancel the order any time before it gets dispatched. To cancel the order, you will need to email us at info@tabaccoleaf.com stating the order ID. After your request, it will take us a maximum of 1-2 business days to cancel the order. The same will be notified to you by email. Your entire order amount will be refunded through NEFT/RTGS within 7-10 working days.
